Israeli sources have denied a report published by the British newspaper “Sunday Time” that Russia will not be committed to hand over the “S-300” missiles to Syria.
The contract has not been eliminated. In fact, it is a myth because there was not any agreement or harmony between Putin and Netanyahu, Israeli sources state according to the Lebanese newspaper al-Safer.
The commander of the Air Forces in Israeli Army Amir Eshel declared the last week that “these missiles are in their way to Syria”, as The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the U.S. Army Gen. Martin Dempsey pointed to the transaction, considering it «a sophisticated system may upset the balance and increase the risk. And he said, America can deal with the Syrian arsenal of weapons, but it is not possible to prevent shipping arms to it».
