BEIRUT, March 7 (Xinhua) -- Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour said Thursday allowing exporting arms to Syria will only affect the neighboring countries, noting that he is keen to preserve Lebanon's best interest.
On Wednesday, Mansour demanded during the Arab Foreign Ministers meeting in the Cairo cancelling the decision of suspending Syria's membership in the Arab League and to recontact the Syrian government to reach a peaceful solution to the Syrian crisis.
Mansour's remarks were rejected by several Lebanese officials, including Prime Minister Najib Miqati who stressed that Lebanon is committed to the dissociation policy.
