The Spokesman of Iraqi Defense Ministry, Lt. Gen. Muhammad al-Askari, declares that “4 soldiers of Syrian Arab Army have been carried to a hospital in the Northwest of Iraq, after being injured during clashes with armed men near the borders”.
Al-Askari says that “these clashes have reached the Iraqi Lands”, adding that 4 wounded soldiers of Syrian Army have been carried to Rabiea hospital Ninawa Provence”.
Al-Askar mentions that “our forces are protecting the borders of the terrorists and the smugglers, and there is no existence to our planes in the disputed area”.
